Every job is different according to your needs, but this is how a typical job process is handled.
Step 1:
After the initial contact I will work up an estimate with prices, estimated time table, and terms of usage. Once that is approved, signed, and emailed back we will e-mail sketched out concepts.
Step 2:
In general we do provide multiple small sketches of 2-3 ideas if necessary for client approval. When this has been received and decided upon a direction, PictoVerse will start crafting the illustration in vector form.
Step 3:
Upon completion we will email you first a low resolution file for approval. Then a high resolution file is sent according to your file requirements. Depending on the file size of the finished piece(s) they will be e-mailed or downloaded it from PictoVerse website.
How long does it take to do original art?
The length of time it takes to complete a commissioned illustration depends on several factors: the number of illustrations, the complexity of each, and the responsiveness of the clients approval.
A typical job of one half-page magazine illustration will take 4-8 business days from the first call to the final delivery of illustration. We will do everything we can to meet the deadline.
